Thank you for your interest in AWA.
While we wish we could consider all materials submitted to us, including, without limitation, ideas, concepts, pitches, proposals, outlines, treatments, stories, scripts, manuscripts, screenplays, character designs, drawings, illustrations, artwork, photographs, videos, music compositions, sound recordings, program formats, characterizations, audiovisual works, and/or other similar materials, whether published or unpublished (“submissions”), we do not accept or consider submissions except for those we specifically request.
Accordingly, we kindly request that you do not send us any unsolicited submissions, which will not be accepted, reviewed, or considered. The purpose of this policy is to avoid potential misunderstandings or disputes that may arise if we produce or publish materials that might appear to be similar or identical to unsolicited submissions.
Although we do consider unsolicited submissions, if you are an aspiring writer or artist, we encourage you to create and suggest that you publish or publicly post your work. We are always searching for new creators, and that is the best way for us to find you.
If, despite our request, you send us an unsolicited submission, the following terms will apply, regardless of what your letter or communication states:
- AWA does not have an obligation to treat unsolicited submissions as confidential or proprietary.
- AWA has no obligation to acknowledge receipt of, review, return, or otherwise respond in any way to unsolicited submissions.
- Unsolicited submissions do not create any kind of relationship or agreement with AWA, including with respect to compensation.
