The Mike Wieringo Comic Book Industry Awards is an annual celebration of the creativity, skill, and fun of comics. What’s special about these awards? The fans — that’s right, YOU — can nominate their favorite creators and titles from the previous calendar year.

Nomination Rules from Ringo Awards: For nomination of individuals (vs. nomination for a comic/graphic novel), nominees must be specifically credited for the job listed in the category for which you are proposing them (this is a change as of 2022). In other words, an artist may not be nominated as an inker just because they inked their own work (even if they did an amazing job). Their eligibility is in the Best Artist or Penciller category. If they are responsible for both writing and art on a title, they are only to be nominated as a cartoonist for that title and not individual creator categories (writer/artist/colorist/etc.).
